Mick and Izzy are our District Explorer Scout Commissioners (they come as a set).
Mick is a Terrain 2 authorised Hill Walker and Wild Camper.
Ric is the Explorer Scout Leader at Bardsey and a wizz at foreign camps. Vastly experienced he is willing to try anything as long as it's not canoeing or caving.
Ric is a Terrain 2 authorised Hill Walker, and an Air Rifle Instructor.
David is Asssistant District Commisioner (Activities) and an Assistant Explorer Leader at Bardsey. He likes paperwork, and one day hopes to get on top of it. He is getting old, fat and losing his hair.
Nick is an Assistant Explorer Leader at Bardsey. He makes the best kindling in the world (to his own secret recipe), a by product of his profession as a french polisher, and for some unknown reason loves Caving.
Nick is an authorised Archery Instructor.
Will is a Unit Helper at Bardsey, and is happiest at the bottom of a lake. A qualified Diving Instructor, Will is also responsible for our supply of game for wild cooking with the help of his wonderfully trained gun dogs.
Sarah is an Assistant Explorer Scout Leader with Bardsey and a trainee teacher at a local school.
Paul (ESL) and Alyson (AESL) are the Explorer Scout Leaders for our Wetherby unit.
Andy Assistant Explorer Scout Leader with the Wetherby Unit.
Bill is the Explorer Scout Leader for our Tadcaster Unit. He is the District Water Sports Adviser, king of canoeing and the man to consult on anything wet.
Sally is the Explorer Scout Leader of our Young Leaders Unit. She organises all our young leader training and helps keep Young Leaders in contact with Explorer activities
Although some Young Leaders also attend regular Explorer Units, not all do, and Sallys role is crucial to ensure that the teenagers who volunteer to give their time with the more junior units still get an opportunity to take part in the activities offered to Explorers within the District.Last Updated 23 Jan 2008 (izzy)
